About Us

Samuel Gilbert Public School is situated north-west of Parramatta and is readily accessed from Castle Hill. It has a defined geographical drawing area but does also accept applications from students who live outside of the drawing area.

Samuel Gilbert Public School welcomes new students and our Family Orientation and Values ensure that new students and parents are always made feel welcome. Parent participation is strongly encouraged in all aspects of the school’s daily operation and through membership of the P & C.

We believe that the school should operate like an extended family, demonstrating respect, tolerance, concern and support for each other and being inclusive of all members.

To attain the greatest benefit from the school, it is essential that the school and family work together and develop an environment of mutual understanding and trust, support and encouragement for your child’s education and school.
